zephyr

trip #1

our time at camp zephyr is such a blast every year.  we just feel at home and enjoy the time with our cousins and friends too!

we took a little trip to the beach on our day off between camps.  and there i experienced the scariest 3 minutes of my life.  max disappeared in the ocean.  i mean, one minute he was there, and then he was gone.  he's an amazing swimmer but in the brown texas ocean water, i knew that if he was under the surface our only hope of finding him would be for us to literally run into him.  y'all, i was terrified.  I've never screamed louder in my life.  and then he appears on the shore.  he went to get his goggles.  of course, he went to get his goggles.  needless to say, we pulled all the kiddos out of the ocean, explained the "rules" and then enjoyed another hour on the beach.  

livi jane LOVED the beach and ocean too, and grab was his typical timid self.
