we hit the road for 3 weeks in july....camp zephyr and a trip to the beach were bookends for this fun event. max qualified for 2 events at the state swim meet. his relay placed 5th (he swam the butterfly) and he placed 14th in the 50 free. it was so much fun, and a little nerve wracking, but he loved swim team and we can't wait for next year!
maggie also started to eat baby cereal and baby food. she ate like a champ and moved to her new schedule with ease. i think she was ready to eat with the big kids!
i love these 2 early risers.
many summer mornings have began with just the 3 of us
(while the other 3 slept away) & is a sweet time.
girls getaway...such a fun night away, but we are due a big trip!

13th anniversary date...rain kept us from all of our plans, but the deep dish and the conversation about our family values were all i needed. we just get better and better, i think.
