easter

preschool egg hunts kicked off the easter weekend.  

both my kiddos are so sweet at school and i am so proud of them!

graham focused in on the gold & yellow eggs, while livi would only pick up the pink & purple ones!

on good friday, we met the stewarts at a really cool nature preserve in plano.  we had lunch, hiked, and read resurrection eggs together.  a new tradition with our favorite people!

in between soccer games on saturday, we went to our church's helicopter easter egg drop.  we are all smiles in the picture bc the chaos had not begun.  let me just say, that helicopters, parents who don't like to follow rules and eggs filled with candy do not mix.  the kids had fun but only got a few eggs and it just wasn't worth it.  no more helicopter egg hunts for this family (at least until the kids are bigger!)

sunday we went to church and had lunch and an egg hunt at g and pops house.  

aren't these little chicks just the cutest!?!?!
