new years

well, here it is, the first day of february and i am just now starting the 2016 blogging.  

our actual new years eve was relaxing with movies and dinner at home but we did a few things to ring in the new year.

first our traditional friends dinner.   my word for the year.  EASE. 

then a few days into 2016 we headed to the zoo to start our memberships.   it was cold but not too cold and we had a great time.  we are all very excited about this christmas gift from my dad and ellen.  

  

the monday before school started back up, i wanted to stay home.  be as lazy as possible while also getting stuff done and ready for the back to regular schedule junk.  but then i looked at the weather and i looked at the six flags schedule.  and well, i decided to throw some candy and take my kiddos to have some fun.  i am so glad i did.  these are the types of days and memories that i hope will live with them forever.  this is one of the ways i want to show them i love them and they are are the most important.
