thanksgiving week

thanksgiving break flew by.

livi and gra had a thanksgiving performance and feast at first flight.  i am so lucky to work at a preschool with a director who gets that we want to be with our kiddos too.  i didn't miss a thing!!

after max's birthday party, he went to spend some time with his cousins in bryan so we did some fun stuff with our 2 littles.

fort worth light parade and christmas tree lighting.  it was worth it.

we also got to take this kid to six flags.  just mommy, daddy, and gra.  that hasn't happened like ever! and it was a great day that was just what we all needed.  i love this boy and even though i don't have him figured out at all, this smile told me all i needed to know that day.

and of course thanksgiving included a run at the turkey trot.  we were late so max was a bit frustrated that we came in last place, but we all got a medal so that was soon forgotten.  livi loved seeing her buddies penny and scout and grab even pet the puppies at the end of the race.  a huge step for him!

the rest of thanksgiving day was spent at my moms, watching the parade and browsing the black friday ads.
friday we celebrated at joey's parents and met some new "sweethearts" of joeys brother and nephew.  it was fun to have a full house again.
also, we found out that uncle adam and aunt yvette are adding to the family next summer!
