9 months

livi jane was 9 months old on christmas morning.  because of our furniture being in storage i won't get to take the monthly picture in our regular place :(

i had to wean olivia this month due to a horrible infection, but i think she and i were both ready even before that.  she loves her bottle and gets excited when she sees it.  she waves her hands up and down at her sides to show us she is happy or excited about something.  she has a toothless grin, even though she has 2 bottom teeth.  she is still eating baby food and has added cheerios, puffs, crackers to the menu.  when this girl is done eating, she is done.  she knows what she wants when it comes to food.  

she is not crawling but you can tell she is starting to get frustrated by not being able to move, yet she doesn't really try to crawl anywhere.  she's starting to get a lot more vocal and even occasionally sounds like she is saying "bye, bye" or "mama".  she likes to play patty cake and will put anything in her mouth.  we are trying to teach her a few signs and sometimes she will try to sign more, but usually she just says "ah" louder and louder til we give her what she wants.
