11:29pm
7 pounds 1 ounce
19 1/2 inches long

her birth was very different from the boys.
on monday morning, i thought my water broke so instead of heading to my scheduled doctors appointment, we headed to the hospital.  there we discovered that no, my water hadn't broken but since we were anxious about me receiving my antibiotic for gbs we will stay and induce on tuesday morning.  tuesday goes by with me receiving antibiotics, walking, resting, getting anxious about pain and labor not starting.
at 6:30pm we are taken to labor and deliver and dr. dooley breaks my water.
we walk from 7:30-8:30pm and NOTHING happens.
at 9pm we start pitocin.  pain goes from 0 to 10 in like 5 minutes.
at 10pm, i'm a six.  a few more hours probably says dr dooley.
at 10:05pm, i can't take it and ask for an epidural.
10:45pm the epidural is being given but i know its too late; the pressure to push is beginning.
10:50pm my legs are numb, but the contraction pain is as bad as ever.  the nurse checks me and explains the pain.  "your complete, so the pain won't be over til you deliver".  duh.
11:15pm the crew arrives and i push
11:29pm a tiny, beautiful little girl is born

the next morning, the introductions begin.
graham is a ham the whole morning and all he wants to do is "hold we tang" (hold livi jane)
max introduces himself but doesn't want to hold her.  he's more interested in the gift she bought him.

the next morning, they surprisingly say we are good to go home.

the next few days at home are fun yet tiring.  trying to take it easy and take care of a newborn and love on the 2 big brothers has its challenges.  but joey and i make a good team and things are going smoothly.

so glad to have a little lady in the family!
