settled?

the last month has been a bit chaotic to say the least. a little over a month ago, we got a notice saying that our "job" at the apartment complex was no longer needed. the weeks that followed were filled with finding a rental house (LOVE IT!), packing (DISLIKE IT), living with our families while in transition (LOVE IT!) and moving (DISLIKE IT). after about 5 weeks of craziness, we are finally feeling settled.

things we love about our new house: lots of storage, an awesome covered back porch and shady backyard, enough space in our room for a desk for joey (and enough room to walk without hitting your leg on the bed or your elbow on the wall), a playroom for the boys, our TV doesn't look quite so big, and a more spacious place for playing host!

and who doesn't love a cute (last scrub at the apartment) bathtub picture.

7 months

well, actually 7 1/2 months now, but whose counting?!?

graham continues to be a fun loving baby, but is turning into quite the attention hog. he HATES it when we leave him alone in a room, and seems to sense when we are about to do it and starts to fuss sometimes before it even happens. he loves to eat and has a cute habit of twirling his wrists when he is happy or excited. he is a great napper (still morning, afternoon, and evening power nap), but has a permanant fussy time from about 6pm (after dinner) until 7:30pm (when he has his bottle before bed). he rarely lets me or joey put him down at this time and if we do, we better be sitting on the floor right next to him.

he makes us smile.

max wanted in on the photo/playtime. what a great (and a little rough) big brother!

first bites

mom, what's this thing i'm sitting in?
what's that stuff your showing me?
it's to eat...gross!
okay, it wasn't that bad. can i have more?
we have now entered the world of baby food. this little guy now LOVES it...he has had green beans, squash, peas and of course baby cereal. he is a funny eater who follows each bite with a thumb suck (unless we pin his arms under the highchair tray), which makes for messy meals, but at least he LOVES to eat!
