6 months

look at me sitting up like the big boy i am!

weight: 21.4 lbs (96%)
height: 27 1/2 inches (85%)
head: 45 1/2 cm (99%)

we can start solid foods anytime im ready too and since he stares us down like crazy when we are eating it will be sooner then later :)

he is still not rolling over but no need for concern especially since he can sit up so well. his favorite pastimes are still watching his brother play and putting anything he can get his hands on in his mouth...but no teeth yet.

love this baby boy!

valentines grump

our valentines celebrations started out with a fun day at g and pop's house...

and continued on tuesday despite this sour mommy's bad attitude. i wanted a heart shaped pizza from papa murphy's but they were out. then i found papa johns had heart shaped pizza. more expensive, but its papa johns. when they arrive, THIN CRUST. boo. my attitude just went from bad to worse. luckily all the boys (and my sis) refused to let my mood ruin the night.

the special heart shaped dessert turned out pretty good though and after a dinner picnic watching beauty and the beast and a 2nd helping of this, i was starting to turn my sour mood back around.
graham enjoyed his dessert too :)

date 2 of 12

my sweet husband planned a great date for the month of love. originally we planned to attend the denton sweethearts dance but when joey was trying to buy tickets he realized it was for people with disabilities. what a story that would of made if we would of showed up ready to dance! so instead he found a dance studio in frisco that does dance lessons on friday nights followed by free dance time to practice your moves. after dinner (and picking up some cupcakes for dessert when we got home), we were in need of some stretches to get our muscles working.
it was a really fun date and i sure am lucky to call this guy my valentine!

a stay with g and pop

a couple of weeks ago, joey headed to Orlando for a conference so the boys and i headed to g and pops for a few days. the weather was gorgeous so we went to the park 3 days in a row. this little dude just had to ride his scooter to get there (but of course was to tired to ride it back home!)
graham enjoyed the stroller rides

pop also taught max how to play checkers
and this almost 6 month old chunky monkey got his first real haircut.
these cheeks are super kissable :)
