max in action!

max is in the 75th percentile of all the stats....

wt: 22lbs

ht: 29 1/2 inches
head circumference: 46 1/2 cm

what else can i say about our boy? he has 2 teeth now (both on the bottom) and it looks like the top 2 will pop through very soon...he is scooting around like crazy but not crawling yet...he is starting to get very attached to mommy (he fusses almost every time he notices that i leave the room) but i am sure that is just the typical separation anxiety stuff....and he is constantly trying to pull up and loves to be standing. can't believe in 3 months i'll be planning a birthday party :)

mom: "can you play stairway to heaven?"

max: "how do i get up there to play it?"

girls trip

for the past 3 summers, i have done a girls trip with my friends from work (well previous work for me now). this year we went to new braunfels and floated the river. it was such a blast. there is nothing like a trip with all girls! if you are a girl out there and have never gotten your friends together and escaped for a few days, i HIGHLY recommend it! can't wait til next year!

8 1/2 months

max has his first tooth!

we first felt it about a week ago and now when we try and feel it, he bites down and it kinda hurts. he is also getting much better at the scooting thing...i have a feeling that any day he is going to start crawling and never stop. he gets so frustrated when we leave the room and he tries to follow us...i am sure once he is crawling, he will just follow us around all day :)
