7 months

can you believe this little cutie is seven months old? crazy! max is just such a great kid. he truly is so flexible and rarely fussy. summer is a busy time of year for us and he continues to just go with the flow....he hasn't started crawling yet (or really even trying) but he does roll around and sometimes seems to be purposeful in his movements. he is a good eater when it comes to baby food (although he really hates peas), but he fights on his bottles. it can take up to 45 min to give him a 6 oz bottle (so feel free, you moms out there to offer suggestions) bc he gets distracted and wants to take breaks. we just try and be patient knowing that it is nutritional essential for him to drink up!

well, in the storm on thursday evening, we had a few interesting things happen. i had to drive around not 1, but 2 trampolines in the middle of the road and our porch furniture (including our table) blew across the yard. we thought we made it out easy...until today. while mowing the yard, i discovered this....

...large cracks in 2 of our master bedroom windows. luckily, they are double paned so no inside damage. and also luckily, it was easy to file our claim with allstate and our deductible is very, very low. just goes to show that texas storms are unpredictable!

we love this one...joey and i have decided that this is the one that really captures what max looks like...when he smiles he just doesn't look like himself. not that he's not a happy baby, he just likes to lay back and chill out...remind you of someone (his daddy!)
